John - Punjabi samosa to start followed by Lasuni Chicken - both very good. Sag veg dish was excellent too. Great little restaurant.

Graeme - This was a very different type of place to our 'norm'. More like a café in some ways with very cheap feeling menus (the actual card / plastic thing). The food selection was unusual too with a mixture of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. I had Vegetable Momo (steamed dumplings) to start - they were nice but dull. For main I went for Lasuni Chicken - it was quite spicy but had fairly large pieces of white chicken (not enough surface area to soak up the flavours of the sauce). They had only one beer on offer, but an interesting one, bottled "Kamasutra" - a bit different but nice. The main waiter / manager was very personable and made us feel welcome. To sum up, I enjoyed my meal but wouldn't rush back

Mark - A new venue for Currymarks in the Clerkenwell area. This is a small café style venue with cosy tables and an Indian/Nepalese menu. Nothing fancy but a good vibe and very friendly service and pleasant décor. The food all seemed freshly cooked but this meant it took a while to arrive. Due to the hybrid menu choices we mixed and matched a bit and the waiter generously gave us an extra starter and main so we could try the different options. I opted for the more traditional Rogan Josh and it was tasty with tender lamb. The only beer on offer was KamaSutra which went down well! No actual bar so no digestif available but they did offer bottles of cold water to go to round off the evening. I'd be very happy to return but this may not suit a bigger group.

Tony - Friendly, swift service, attentive without being pushy. Small place, with titchy tables. Mix of clientele, quiet ish, but it was early. Good colourful Nepalese oil paintings on the walls; alas fake flowers above. Bottles of kama sutra beers. They were OK. Momo chicken dumplings. Unusual. Appreciated the complimentary chilli version, which went down better. Rice portions reasonable. Butter chicken main. Waiter was at pains to state all vegetables were fresh including tomatoes in the sauce. I don't doubt this, which was good. I was expecting more almond or spices to lift the sauce. Good though, just too tomatoey. Freebies and reasonable pricing. Offered a free bottle of spring water at the end. Nice touch. A ten, would have got the short cognac or something, as well.

Richard - Taparee is a Nepalese restaurant, so as well as the usual favourites they had some different dishes. The owner, whose father was a Gurkha, was welcoming with an opening suggestion of Kamasutra (the lager) which was OK. I had bhel poori to start (puffed rice) which was plentiful and tasty, but it missed a raita type alongside. The main of butter chicken was fine, sides were good and prices very reasonable for such an area. I'd be happy to return and go through more Nepali dishes.

Neil - A small Indian/Nepalese restaurant with a limited menu and only one beer on offer (or there was only one they wanted us to have!), that said the food was great and the service excellent. Not sure how this would scale up to a full curry turnout but they seemed ok with six of us. VFM was let down slightly by the small number of poppadoms but this was offset by a couple of complementary dishes, we also gave quite a good tip due to the service. Special mention for the spinach cheesy side, very green(!) but very tasty, rice was also perfectly cooked.
