Dave - Very Good Curry - enthralling conversation re voting procedure. Unfortunately Railtrack once again conspired to ruin my evening by arranging a bus journey for part of my trip home.
John - Another good showing from the Sheba. Nice King prawn puree to start followed by an excellent chicken tikka bhuna. Tasted Mark's chicken chilli massala and I've got a joke: What’s the difference between the flag of Japan and Mark's arse? Nothing!
Graeme - Excellent food and so cheap! It certainly proved to be the worthy winner for 2000. Hard to fault. Neil stayed awake despite drinking more than usual - maybe that's the answer. What about the peculiar toilet with the forward-facing U-bend - weird.
Mark - Best pieces of chicken in main meal for a long time although a bit hot for my taste. Nan rather flat and my lamb tikka starter slightly charred. Overall, well worth the walk.
Brian - Excellent starter - a sort of spicy scotch egg. I had to try one of the range of "gatta" mains - I went for the lamb which was a lot more tender than I imagine it's human namesake to be, although I confess that I don't often imagine chewing on one of Robin's shoulders. Weirdest toilet I have ever seen. I like Sheba's.
Neil - Marked down slightly from our previous visit, but I still think this was the best from last year. Conversation highlight: the weird plumbing in the toilet!
Robin - Great starter and excellent main dish. It's not often you can order a dish named after yourself (King Prawn Gatta). Shame about the 6 preceeding pints of Old Stomach Churner.
