Jeff - I've just come to the realisation that this is the same place we visited when the Covid clouds were gathering in Feb 2020. The place is small, but a large mirror makes it look twice the size. I was extremely hungry on arrival having strolled around the Courtaulds gallery in the afternoon with Dave then walking up to Euston. Service was pleasant, although they were a little slow to take our order and also present us with the bill. Meal was nothing memorable but perfectly competent, salmon tikka followed by Lamb Korahi. Thanks to Dom for organising this time.

Brian - An enjoyable evening as always, excellent company, nice enough pub and a good curry. Draught Cobra seemed ok, and reasonably priced. No-one took the piss when I had a half either, which seemed far too grown up on both counts. Mixed starter was very good, and gave me a nice but not too large meat fix. Fish Karahi main was just right - a bit of a kick without being overpowering. Quite like this curry club idea, and I think it might catch on.

Dominic - Another slight detour this month with our nominated revisit-venue closed for refurbishment, just like with last month's revisit. So as acting CC, I made the executive (and appropriate, I would say) decision to visit the 7th listed venue … the fact that it is one of my favourites and is in walking distance from home never entered into it! Once again, I avoided the pub and went straight to the venue and popped open the mighty "Matoose" until the "rabble" arrived. It was quite full almost from the start so the ambience was very good and the service very attentive all evening aided by 2 (yes, that was 2!) free liqueurs at evening's end. I chose the Reshmi Kebab starter which was plentiful and tasty and for main went for the Naga King Prawns which was very good yet again. The Keema Rice was delicious, all the veg was of good quality, but without my stuffed-paratha partner in attendance, no bread was chosen. Given where prices seem to be for curry-houses these days, VFM appears really high for the quality of this meal. So, another very enjoyable evening, albeit with an intimate number of 5, where the banter flowed and the amateur attempt to perform the "finger-ritual" continues … come back G!

Jon - Solid performance from the stand-in revisit.  Lovely mixed starter and the lamb dansak was excellent.  I commented on the last visit that it wasn't as hot as I normally like it, but either my taste has changed or they spiced it up a bit as it was just about right.  All in all an excellent evening despite missing a few of our regulars.

Dave - Enjoyable evening at the Drummond Villa - was worried when no chicken curry shown on the menu but luckily they had a notice on the menu stating the chef would cook special dishes to order so I challenged him to come up with a chicken curry and wasn't disappointed. Not so keen on my prawn puri but very impressed with the 2 free rounds of baileys at the end! Lots of entertaining bollox talked - next door table even joined in at one point.
