Neil - A great night out, cheap beer at the Old Kings Head followed by a superb (if not cheap) meal at the restaurant. Really enjoyed my spicy paneer starter and chicken biryani main was also excellent. This would have scored a ten but the chicken was just a tiny bit over cooked. Service was a bit slow with quite a long wait for the starters and we had to order an even number of poppadoms which was slightly odd. Debated the VFM score as a great meal but it was quite expensive. On a more positive note, I was impressed that there was a craft beer on the menu but we all went for the traditional Cobra!

Jon - A very pleasant evening south of the river. The restaurant had a very interesting menu and I couldn't resist the scallops as a starter and I wasn't disappointed. Some of the old favourites were missing but i enjoyed my Lal Mas main, billed as vindaloo hot but more madras, and with no special rice available, I settled for mushroom rice which was good. It was a bit on the pricey side but I'd be happy to return.

Jeff - A trip round Borough is always welcome as it's five minutes from London Bridge and straight home from there. The Old Kings Head was serving an excellent pint of Tribute and also nowhere near as busy as its famous neighbour the George.  Curry house was small and busy. Decent menu, not too many choices, and I chose two dishes I'd not tried before. Starter was momo - a bit like ravioli - and main of Kori Gassi was chicken in quite a sweet and sour sauce. Both were ok without being memorable. Portions were decent and the veg, bread and rice average. Beer choice severely limited - just Cobra if memory serves - so marked down for that. Price slightly above average.

Mark - A trip 'sarf' tonight just past Borough Market. Reasonable priced pub to start, Old Kings Head, then onto the venue which had set up a table for the booking of 5. Slight hustle to change to 6 so we had some elbow room but all very pleasant service overall. Pops were served as 2 x half circle which allowed me to recreate my earlier Tate Modern experience. Garlic Chilli Chicken starter was lovely with good kick although seemed slightly sweet and was good sized, biryani for main was tasty but possibly under appreciated due to filling up on the starter. Lively place meant good ambiance and was an enjoyable outing until trains sh*te again on return home.

John - My first ever sober curry - not as bad as I thought it would be! Chicken Tikka starter followed by Tandoori King Prawn. Accompanied by a whole wheat roti and some chana massala. All very tasty and hopefully reasonably healthy.
